Wow! The fun continues! These are great questions.

For the record, my snow day didn't happen. Surrounding counties are calling snow days, but Memphis is a go. Phooey!

ChrisL said...

Very good questions Thorsten and Claire. Thanks.

andalone, In the UK, where I live was the last to get the snow... I'm now in my second day of not being able to get the car out of the driveway!

These competitions are great! Brilliant questions for this fine Smokey Thursday :D

@ChrisL It is more a matter of the moisture freezing on the roadways, causing icy conditions - it was 14 degrees yesterday morning. It is just below freezing now. There is about an inch of snow on the cars, but it doesn't seem to be sticking to the ground. We can get out of the driveway, but might slide into the neighbor's yard. Wheeeeeee! I made a tiny little snowman by scooping off the windshield when I went out to get the paper this morning.

Great questions AND an awesome prize - this was one I was really hoping for...considering it will fit too. :)

Happy sleuthing and sorry about the snow, folks!

Amy Lynn said...

Awesome. Which thread are we supposed to be in now? :)

Lisa-Maladylis said...

So Chris, how much snow did you get ?? We have about a foot and a half in the yard now so not too much.
My bf keeps hoping we will get a lot more.

ChrisL said...

Lisa, not as much as you but this is the UK... if we get a few flakes everything grinds to a halt! It's not so much the snow as the lack of preparation ie no gritting on any roads but the main roads. The snow has frozen solid on the side roads overnight and any attempt to drive in our "normal" cars just results in a semi-hilarious display of vehicular ballet!

Amy - I think i'll say NEW POST!

Zort70 said...

Morning, all, just stopping by to say hi and then off to the Kennedy Space Center.

Florida is in a panic because there might be a few flakes of snow in the air !

By the way there was part of a question in the Tim Doyle interview missed off, it has been restored now but here it is just in case you can't spot it -

"Didn't you do some prints for Olly Moss for A Life Well Wasted ( alifewellwasted.com )?"

Zort70 said...

All the confusion on posts is probably because I set all the competition posts and the interview to auto publish before I left. I didn't anticipate all the second wave of poster information being so crazy.

Avondale Blog said...

I'm enjoying the questions. It might snow in Atlanta, GA, USA today!

XXXHardcore said...

@Avondale I'm from Atlanta, too--hope you stocked up on your bread and milk! I kid.

ChrisL said...

@Zort and Thorsten, I think the new posts appearing automatically shouldn't be a problem if you don't mind whoever gets there first to shout NEW POST... I don't think anyone expected the second round of posters to be this crazy Zort, you did a great job on the auto publish thing. Super impressed that Thorsten's managing to keep it all together!

NEW POST!!!!

Not sure if I should ask this here or in the new post, but I'm not sure which episode title #5 is asking for: the one where they discover the capsule dump or the one where that station is first discovered. I feel like I'm over-thinking this.
Anyway, I'm delighted for a shot at this shirt. =)

Lisa-Maladylis said...

@Agatha Craxie I do believe they mean when the dump was first discovered. not the station. But that's my guess.

beesknees7 said...

Thanks, lisa. That's how I first read it, but then the other way popped into my thoughts & totally confused me, haha.

Eugene said...

Oh shoot. I completely took ot the other way. As in when do we first see that station. Can I amend or resubmit?

maven said...

Great questions! Gonna let someone else win this great prize since I already have a Locke tee-shirt!

Patmc said...

I'm with Maven... I was lucky enough to be at the Gallery 1988 event and got the shirt. I wouldn't want to deprive someone else of this very cool shirt! Good luck to everyone... you'll really love it in person!
