LOST Auction Catalog Now Available 76

Last night Lottery Ticket posted a link in the comments for the LOST auction catalog, which is now available on the Profiles In History Website

The Catalog will cost $55, however for that you get items arranged in season order and 300 pages of colour photographs, if you order one now it will be shipped at the end of July.

If you don't want to spend the money then there are 6 Adobe PDF files available if you want to browse the catalog on your own computer.

One small word of warning, the online order form is not a secure web site, so I would recommend you don't enter your credit card details directly into the form. There is a suggestion that you can send the credit card details separately to the email address given. Maven has done this already and reports no problems.

New Man In Charge Photo 12

Yes I know this photo has been doing the rounds for a few days, but today I received an email from the ABC marketing company directly with a high quality version so I thought I'd share.

Below is a first look photo from the original, brand new 12-minute LOST chapter called “New Man In Charge" which offers a look at what Hurley (Jorge Garcia) and Ben (Michael Emerson) do as the new Island overseers.

This bonus feature will be available on BOTH LOST: THE COMPLETE SIXTH SEASON and LOST: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION which debuts on Blu-ray & DVD on August 24, 2010.

The Island Isn't Done With You Yet 34

Well is this a real rabbit hole or a fake one ?

Dark UFO posted on the Spolier TV forums about an email that had been received. Click here to go to that forum post.

Looking distinctly ARGy I set about looking at this. The attached flash file takes the user to a small puzzle. The puzzle is a build the circuit type of thing where you put all the connectors in the right place.

When you do this you then have to enter the correct frequency, which is fine if you understand French numbers. Then finally you get directed to Click here to show the circuit puzzle solution and the location.

When you get there there is a memory puzzle. You have to enter letter pairs and find the matching symbols.

Match all the symbols within the time and you then get to a video message.

The video message is a little odd, i.e. it does not look like an official DHARMA message, but it does ask you to enter a 2 digit code so you can enter your email address and get updates. The video mentions the 15th of August and a period of 2 weeks after that, which would take it up to the release date of the final season and complete collection DVD / Blu Ray disc sets.

The Other LOST Auction - Reminder

In the comments JPL reminded me that the other way to buy LOST props still has items for sale.

There are items like this DHARMA shipping label for $0.99 or the Richard Alpert Duffle bag for $1,999.99.

You can see our original post about this prop sale by clicking here.

LOST Auction Update 32

As has been reported by many LOST news outlets over the last few days there has been some additional information released about the LOST Auction.

One non LOST related source is the Original Prop Blog pictured to the left. They also have an interview with Profiles in History that are the people running the auction.

The essential details from the press release are that the auction will be "LIVE FROM BARKER HANGAR IN SANTA MONICA, CA AUGUST 21 AND 22, 2010"

Also for the non US citizen interested in this auction "Worldwide bidding begins at 1pm PST both days. Bids can be placed in person, via mail, phone, fax or live on the Internet......"

The Real Not Penny's Boat 135

Ever since the original DamonCarltonandaPolarBear.com campaign, and especially after the fake poster on the right appeared, fans have been asking for a poster based around this seminal moment in the show's history.

So this poster from The Little Friends of Printmaking is a clever way of giving us two aspects to this scene.

The original scene is flashed back to in the scene from season six which starts Desmond's awakening to the reality of the sideways life.

The images in this post were kindly sent in by JPL and MEL.

To add even more interest to this image the words on Charlies hand glow in the dark.

There are also a few surprises in the print not visible from the small preview we saw on the DCaaPB website. This is the most obvious one, that JPL, told us about, but I am told there are others.

The two signatures pictures below highlight that cameras can be very misleading when it comes to colours as they look completely different. But I am assured that the darker blue of the two is the more accurate for this part of the poster.

Blogger Comment Problem

It appears that Blogger is experiencing problems with comments at the moment so if you create comments they are not appearing.

As soon as Blogger resolve the issue I'll update this message.

Returning to The Black Rock 54

This is the poster I've been most looking forward to arriving (hurry up !), mainly so I can see the detail that the small representation on the DamonCarltonandaPolarBear.com website could never do justice to.

The close up pictures below from mistersh0w and The Kharma Initiative do a good job in showing this detail but I have been told it is even better in person.

Also if you did not manage to pick this up when it first went up for sale then there will be a chance to win one, go to RamHatter.com for more details.

The new poster has a couple of things in comon with the first poster Daniel Danger created for LOST in that they both have captions and a figure walking towards the main subject of the poster. On the left is the Black Rock poster and on the right is the Jacobs Cabin poster.

As with the other print there is a caption and as Mr Danger has said he personally calls his prints by this caption rather than the name given on the DCaaPB website.

Finally a picture from Ray of his picture framed with some other familiar pieces.
