I know they're not even awake in LA yet, but I'm excited!

Eugene said...

Me too! I have Twitter open already and am following the three of them.

Zort70 said...

Yes, you would think they would get up extra early and post some information :-)

LotteryTicket said...

Also follow comixguru. She'll be there as well.

Good morning. Do you think maven took a look after hours? I could NOT have resisted.

It's LA so I am hoping for meet & greet even if it only barks and fetches dead arms.

Very excited to see pics of the event!

LT: No I didn't go down there last night. It's actually a 20 minute drive. That's why I'm up so early (a 20 minute drive can take 2 or 3 times that). I'm worried about rush hour traffic and I'm going to stay off the freeway and take city streets.

Totally off base prediction #2: Rusty's will give away DHARMA Fish Biscuits...

And I couldn't have been more wrong about my "Fall Out Boy will play You All Everybody prediction" last week.

Zort70 said...

Amy Lynn said...

Link won't load in Chrome. Anyone?

Kevin T said...

It may have been what Amy said, but the blog admin removed that link.

roxanna said...

Is it weird that it took me to

Zort70 said...

The URL redirects to HuckFinnWasTaken, but it is Smokie !!!!

Amy Lynn said...

Me too, but then I reloaded and it was okay!

Kevin T said...

So somebody booched it and misspelled either the shirt or the domain. Either way, the link is http://iamtryingtobuysomejerkeyandaslushy.com

Amy Lynn said...

Yup, that's what lead me to Eko.

Congested said...

Beautiful poster, but it doesn't fit with the other two I've purchased. And money is a factor. Gonna' sit this one out.

Nice job everyone who made it to the pet store.

It's interesting but I think I'll pass.
To much red. Looks like he's in hell. Maybe that's the point. :)

Sayid'sgirl said...

Thanks maven and comixguru!!
Great work!

roxanna said...

This is a great poster; very detailed. However, it's not for me. Good luck to all the buyers and thank you to everyone who went to Rusty's today :)

G4 showed the episode last night with this t-shirt. Was this a clue?

Zort70 said...

NEW POST

roxanna said...

@Sayid'sgirl
I agree with you that it looks like he's in hell. Reminds me of a comic book version of Dante's Inferno.

waffle said...

Looking at the flyer on DCAAPB, how did we not make that connection?

Most of the posters have gone on sale either on the hour or half-hour, right?

JPL said...

Well that was quite the experience. :)Refreshed until my fingers were as red as the trees in the poster & then site came up forbidden... but I did get through. Poster is definitely a water cooler moment. Order - 974

@maven; @comixguru; @hollywood_bob; @desmondia... THANK YOU and wear the t-shirts proudly... you've earned them!

My early lunch hour is now over. Back to work ;)

comixguru said...

It was great fun meeting Maven and Desmondia and the other Losties there! I didn't buy the poster... even though it is very cool. I have LOCKE and THE CRASH so far. I'm dying to know what the last frame with the red question mark is!!! *twiddling thumbs waiting for the FRAME 8 first clue to go up*... :)

I think it's kinda odd that these shirts are made by KR3W. you can tell by the [K] next to the size printing.

KR3W is a local, So Cal, based clothing line, also producing shoes, that caters to skating.

And Kr3w RARELY, if ever, produces shirts for other people besides their own company.

Just...odd. But awesome.
