The LOST Art of Gallery 1988 285

By this point, we have seen all of the DCAAPB prints. Here is all of the other art work shown at Gallery 1988 last night. I'm going to try to go back tomorrow, when it is a little less crowded, and get some better pictures, plus the names, prices, and availability of all the art.

UPDATE: You can find all of the featured art, with descriptions, prices, and availability at the Gallery 1988 Lost Underground Art Show blog.

Which is your favorite?

Love the Dan Lydersen one.

thorsten said...

There is a lot to love…

thorsten said...

Ben in his parka with Smokey on the leash, haha

Anonymous said...

Man, I love nearly all of these. Especially the MIB one and the Locke and shark one.

Totally amazing!

futureself said...

The Dan Lydersen painting is realy cool. Thank you to everyone who did a stellar job of covering the events.

ChrisL said...

Incredible work. Do we know if any sold? How can we buy?

mrtibbs said...

Like the little one of the two Franks!

Anonymous said...

@ChrisL - if I remember right, we can buy them some time today on the G88 site... but these things cost thousands of dollars. (Means that I'm out of buying them, as much as I love some of these!)

I just caught up on all the massive posts from last night. Tried to follow along with the live feeds, nodding all the while...I was just in awe! Thanks to LT and Rev for the coverage and thanks to Zort and all of you! I couldn't be there but you made me feel a part of it and that means so much to me. I LOVE the art!
xxoo

Nicole. One side of the story only. We shouldn't be judging anyone or drawing conclusions. If any individuals have a problem it's way best that they sort out their differences themselves rather than her. MHO.

ChrisL said...

*rather than here*

mrtibbs said...

Fantastic documentation of the event. Just noticed the Linus Family Portrait. Really sweet.

ChrisL said...

Hey Ellen! Absolutely, LT and Rev did amazing work.

Lisa-Maladylis said...

yep, have to agree Chris. Besides, it's between them all and not us.

thorsten said...

Right, Ellen!
A big shout to Lotto and Milo for their performance, live streaming from their iPhones was darn amazing. Lotto filming Damon till her battery gave out and Milo running up and down the line in his Dharma apparel making them shout the name of Michaels son are part of Lostarg history already!

Zort70 said...

Nicole I have heard the other side of the story from some of the other people involved, and as in all things there are different views.

I think we ought to let the people involved sort it out amongst themseleves and not assume fault on anyones side.

futureself said...

I adore the collection of Scott Campbell paintings. So many great moments captured and a lot of humour ;)

ChrisL said...

And with the word of our Leader may it rest there! Thanks Zort.

So... when are we going to be able to buy this poster then?

Vander. said...

I just want some Scott Campbell prints.

Unknown said...

Vander - me too! they are amazing
are they going on sale today??!

StrobeJams said...

Sobek? WTF?

thorsten said...

haha, if this is Sobek I will get a bottle of Veuve Cliquot from LOSTPEDIA…

Tess315 said...

Oh my gosh I've got over over 400 posts to catch up on since I went to bed!!

So what is the confirmed time for this print to drop? As I spend the rest of the day catching up on posts.

Big thanks to everyone one who sent video and pictures it was an amazing night.

Tess315 said...

That was a question (?) not a statement (.) Need caffine.

Lisa-Maladylis said...

no confirmed time Sayid's girl Were all still just guessing like you.

Trial Attorneys said...

I've been swamped with work for the end of year and MIA the last two weeks but I really enjoy you all. Last night was so fun to watch. Thanks again Rev and LT. Can't wait for that poster today. Also hoping the Locke tshirts ho on sale too at some point today too.

Unknown said...

How many hours is PST behind EST? Like if it was dropped at 12:00noon PST, what time would that be in EST?

(scratches head, confused and tired, still)

Lisa-Maladylis said...

3 hours Organic

Tess315 said...

Thanks Lisa.
Back to catching up on posts.

ChrisL said...

Sayid'sgirl. Have fun catching up. It was a party and a half last night!

Kelly said...

Man, I really hope they are yanking our chains with it being a limited edition but giving out free copies last night...

I cannot get over how cool the live streaming was - I thought being able to just text and take a picture was high-tech!! Must look into better phone apparently!

Happy F5ing today everyone!

thorsten said...

Just get an iPhone Kelly ;))

And about the poster, the free one from the Gallery is not the same. It was not screenprinted etc. And it featured the addition of THE FINAL SEASON on the bottom.

mrtibbs said...

Well, PM Pacific Time is anything after 8PM here in UK, I don't think I can take another late night!

Anonymous said...

@Tibbs - if it is 11:52 PST like a lot of people think, it's going to be 7:52 a.m. tomorrow morning for us UKers! It's crazy.

i get the feeling this one will be a weird timed one, no matter when they do it. At least we know there'll only be the same amount of people as there has been for the last four prints, thanks to no new people being able to register.

Kelly said...

Gotcha Thorsten, thanks! Still hoping TPTB are in the holiday spirit and let anyone who has gotten one print get this one. :) A girl can dream, right!!!!

Tess315 said...

ChrisL
It was definitely a party. I was following LT's and Rev's feeds and chatting on Rev's feed. I could follow here too. lol
I've gotten through about 150 post so far. :)

Tess315 said...

couldn't follow here too.
Still haven't got my caffine. :)

mrtibbs said...

Two nights with less than five hours sleep is killing me. As much as I really really want this one I may have to give it a miss. I can't imagine many people will want to trade this for anything else.

Amy Lynn said...

Definitely think the Lydersen is the greatest. How very cool.

Not too concerned about the Stout dropping. I don't have the $70 or the wall space.

Unknown said...

I'm pretty sure there are two statues on the island now, one being Sobek and the other Tawaret. This pretty much confirms it. Look how Sobeks legs a far apart, and then look at the statue seen in 'LaFleur'.

Sam G said...

:) email

thorsten said...

man up, tibbs.
Remember Churchill ;))

Lisa-Maladylis said...

lol thorsten

Drama said...

yeah, I'm all in for MANY statues on the island... several greek Gods. What's to say there wasn't at some point the whole pantheon? we've only seen bits of the island, after all.

I REALLY want one of the Sobek / Tawaret figures. I wonder if lovely Mistersh0w managed to pick me up anything...

Lisa-Maladylis said...

if there is anyone that DOESN"T want one of the statues, I would be very surprised.

Unknown said...

I do enjoy Mr. Stout's work. Has anyone seen his Bladerunner or The Warriors prints? Awesome

mrtibbs said...

Man up?! This is about self preservation Thors! If I get any grumpier I'm going to find myself without a job and without girlfriend :)

Had a nightmare this morning, had an hour to get ready for work ended up burning porridge, forgetting to clean teeth, was late for work, called a colleague a four letter word. So much cool stuff to catch up on, I was sat watching one of Rev's streams when I realised I was already five minutes late!

Definitely a Lost Argghhhhhh day!

Tony said...

theres something really interesting about the dark man who talked to jacob painting... if you look in the background right above his left elbow you see a drawing of a sphinx. whats so interesting about this is the fact that there is an easter egg in the blu-ray/dvd of season five of someone drawing this!!

this drawing doesnt really have any other significance yet it is in this painting. i wonder if that is a hint towards season 6? i mean unless i missed something in previous seasons... but how did the artist know about this?

let me know if i blanked on a detail OR if i have discovered something amazing!

Tess315 said...

Hurley's the key to it all. He's holding a flaming ankh torch. :)

Just noticed that Sayid is in the print twice. He's holding Shannon at the bottom. :) :) lol

Tony said...

ok i feel dumb. i found the link to season five. regardless it is interesting that a small detail from episode seven from season five is part of the MIB's office. i wonder if this sphinx will mean anything next season.

Anonymous said...

@Tony - Hurley was painting the sphinx in one of the S5 eps (I can't remember which one though). Not sure if it's totally important or not, just thought I'd mention that part.

thorsten said...

feel you, tibbs, I went to sleep at 5:30 and dreamed that I made a fire with Carlton and Damon on the beach ;))

TakesaVillage said...

I love how Dan Lydersen seemed to capture the full scope of Lost. Awesome. This ARG is truly a fan pleaser.Great to see so many of you Argernauts in the photos.
Maven,and friends;
You may be in the season 6 DVD's. How cool is that?

mrtibbs said...

With regard to the MIB painting - the white shoe on the right is that a ref to Christian? It's so good. The compass, the checkerboard pieces, charlie's greatest hits and locke's note. There's so much to the painting. It's almost like our very own Linder Gallery.

RamHatter said...

I like the 16th poster, but if it would have been the MIB art as the 16th poster? Wow. That would have been phenomenal, IMO.

futureself said...

Is that the Hurley Bird MIB has pinned to the wall?

Anonymous said...

@Future - I assumed it was the bird Walt killed when he was not being paid attention too...

futureself said...

Also the portrait paintings in the MIB are of people who've all died (Charlie, Rousseau, Daniel and Locke).

IWish said...

Yeah,futureself... looks like a bird...not the Hurley bird though, IMO.

It looks like sand sifting through MiB's fingers...nice touch. Sands of time?

futureself said...

Ah yes Callum, I think you're right!

Tess315 said...

I like how the sand is sifting through his fingers. Time is running out.

Tess315 said...

Beat me to it. :)

IWish said...

lol @ Sayid'sgirl....I'm a fast woman.

What is that item to the left of the foot statue? For the life of me I can't figure it out. A gas mask?

futureself said...

I love the way that the image of Des behind Walt's checked shirt in the Tyler Stout print makes it look like he's wearing a kilt :D

thorsten said...

yes, Daniels mask… or Charlottes ;))

Tess315 said...

Yep that's a gas mask.

futureself said...

The mask is more probably a reference to Ben gassing his father.

Tess315 said...

futureself
I never noticed that but you're right.

Crushproof said...

Great coverage everyone!!! Keep on rockin' in a (not so) free world! My favorite is MIB!
-Unlocke

Tess315 said...

It could even be Desmond's or Kelvin's mask.

thorsten said...

right, futureself. 12 Sobek points to you!

IWish said...

Or gassing Annie. The two dolls are in front of it. I just love the MiB poster...I think I will have a version printed out, professionally, to frame.

I absolutely love the Locke portrait with the compass, checker pieces, etc. Locke is my hero...yeah, I'm a sap.

ChrisL said...

Well that's about as much work as I can do today... Heading home to await someone, somewhere figuring out what time this is going to happen. Oh, and it would be good if it could not be in the next hour!

what happens when this is done Tim ?? we all cry in a corner over the one's we missed and the show we missed. Then we get ready for LOST to start on Feb 2nd.

@ Chris, kewl that you got snow today. Snow ball fight, splat !

@Bill, no way to sign into GoMerch anymore. the link is dead. If you don't have a account and password, probably out of luck :-(
Just keep that f5 button highlighted and at the ready and that's all you can do.

trying to get this poster is going to be like trying to win the lottery.

Ellen B said...

Wow, Amy, that is amazing!

Ellen B said...

Jesse t, what I'm hoping is that there will be the limited edition of signed ones (as in the past) and another unsigned one like they gave out at the gallery last night. Many more of the latter, hopefully.

Unknown said...

elen b- that would be great if they did that. screen print or not i just want the poster.lol

Amy Lynn said...

Hey, I'm a little confused. Is chasester the same person as charter?

Mrs Z said...

Good morning all! Had a blast watching the feeds last night - thanks so much Rev and LT for providing! Do we have any idea if people were able to buy any art at the gallery? I know Rev was trying, just not sure if he was successful. If not, any ideas when it will go on sale? As if I can afford it. There was sooo much I loved! The smoke monster in a suit riding the polar bear cracked me up. :)

feel_the_insanity said...

Morning everybody. I have to say I'm disappointed to see that we didn't get a larger print run for this print. Ugh...

reAnimated said...

I breathed a sigh of relief when I woke up to fine "On Sale Soon" still here. :)

feel_the_insanity said...

Might as well kiss this poster good bye. Time to go study and forget about this thing, thought maybe they'd give us a chance but...nope.

Drama said...

from what we are guessing, it's midnight tonight? is that correct? which makes it 8AM UK time. Which is nice. I severely doubt I'll get one, but I'd love the chance. Then it's on to begging artists to open up a run of some of the posters. I hope this site stays up into the new year, so that if people hear of the prints being offered, we have a place to tell people.

reAnimated said...

I thought I read in the last thread that the bookmarks were incomplete? And someone said 11:52 wasn't right at all. Check back.

Amy Lynn said...

11:52 is not right. The bookmark thing didn't work out, apparently.

vabauer said...

Wow, I was out of town for 2 weeks with limited web access, just dying to come back and the surprises for the last 24 hours have been simply amazing!! A BIG THANK YOU to all that were present and provided a truly excellent glimpse into the gallery event. The art is simply awesome and here is my updated letter to Santa Claus this year:

Dear Santa,

I have been a good Lostie all this year, watched every Season 5 episode on TV and didn't change the channel until it was over, I tried to buy every single poster from the ARG, had to get a couple of spare F5 keys, have been posting nice comments to all the fellow Losties on lostargs.com and generally have a healthy but borderline psychotic obsession with all things LOST. I think I deserve (we all deserve) that TPTB offer a beautiful, large full color book with all the fine art presented at the gallery, together with a set of all 16 posters for about, mmhh, oh $200, that's my ONLY wish this Xmas Santa, pretty please!!

Cheers to all and good luck with the final poster!!

Scott said...

Yeah I'm pretty much giving up on this one now as well. About to get some sleep down here in Adelaide and then off to work. If I knew when it was going to drop I might have a chance to make plans around it but at this point it looks as though I'll just miss out. Good luck to everyone around for it! And good night.

Tess315 said...

Whew Finally caught up.

Tim Maguire said...

Nicole said...

8am GMT? Oh god say it aint so.

thorsten said...

Not Poster related:
SFTV critic Rick Norwood just wrote on sfsite.com:
Time magazine picked Battlestar Galactica as one of the ten best television series of 2009, and the Dollhouse episode "Briar Rose" as one of the best episodes. About ten million people tuned into the beginning of V and FlashForward, and last year to the beginning of Terminator and Fringe, a year or two before that to the beginning of Heroes. Those are substantial numbers these days. But for all of these shows, the numbers fell off rapidly. There are a lot of people who want to watch good science fiction, but television isn't giving them what they want.

I think there are two problems. One is that the shows are too complicated. Lost got it right -- first appealing, memorable characters. Complications later. The other is that the shows are too grim. In bad times, people want Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, not millions dead or hopelessly powerful aliens.

Drama said...

well, I'm working on the assumption that "11:52" isn't correct, as has been said by others. I don't know how that time was reached, but I think it was by adding up times on the bookmarks. If a couple were missing (from people wandering home) then I'm guessing closest hour wins. So midnight PST / 8AM my time. Total guesswork though, and very probably wrong.

Kelly said...

@ Amy Lynn - any other updates re: general time frame for reveal from our friends out in CA you may be in contact with?

Amy Lynn said...

@Kelly, nope. I don't think there's anything that can be done, with no idea how many missing bookmarks there are floating around.

feel_the_insanity said...

I'm way behind on the posts, and please forgive me if I'm "bringing up the past"...but I just wanted to voice my opinion on the "cutting in line" incident. (Feel free to skip if you're tired of the issue.)

I'm very disappointed in Lotto and the others involved. Sure, we all want LOST stuff. But, what's fair is fair. Chaseter, sorry that happened to you man. You said it, karma is a bitch. And while Lotto, Comixguru and MIB may be nice people, they did not do a nice thing.

Unknown said...

this is not good news

ChrisL said...

Home from work and no "sold out" so that's a relief. But no further clue on the timing either...

Sayid'sgirl. Well Done! Relax now and watch it unfold.

Amy Lynn said...

FTI, I'm not even sure who "chasester" is... thought it might have been charter, but I dunno.

Also, we don't know the other side of the story.

ChrisL said...

feel_the_insanity, Zort suggested earlier that, as we, none of us, know the whole story, it may best if we leave it to the individuals involved to settle their differences between them. Which seems fair enough.

The question is then, where are the missing bookmarks?

feel_the_insanity said...

@AmyLynn...I think it was Charter. Yes, we don't know the other side of the story. But...they haven't exactly denied the whole thing happened either. However, you're right.

Amy Lynn said...

Ah, okay, I didn't see anything from Zort asking us not to discuss it. Sorry.

Nicole said...

I hope the time gets figured out soon. I hope it goes on sale sometime within the next 8 hours.

feel_the_insanity said...

@ChrisL, I agree. Just voicing my opinion. I have no intentions to delve any deeper than that.

Kelly said...

Thanks Amy Lynn - these two days could go down as my least productive of all time!!!

And sorry the last print was not the Ben/Desmond embrace/kiss you were hoping for! ;) That will definitely have to be a subject for version 2.0 of this project!!

Wow, the photos on the front are great Zort. Thanks again also to the roving reporters who let us live it vicariously. Good times.

Amy Lynn said...

There have been several reveals that happened at 10AM PST, 1PM PST. Probably not relevant, since there was a Wed PM PT clue, but you never know.

Zort70 said...

Thanks Capcom.

I'll add some more photo's / closeups later on when I get back from work.

Ellen B said...

Which bookmarks are these?

Capcom said...

Very intersting article Thorsten, tx for posting it.

I have to say up until now I thought Carlton was smoking a bowl in the picture of him and Damon with Smokie....Now I can see it's a comb.

Drama said...

how were the clues related? as in, what was the logic tying them together? were they added up, or divided or something?

Sam G said...

It was so great to see so many people come to the exhibit. The artwork was so amazing and I'm really glad people were able to get such great shots of it.

ChrisL said...

RevMilo has posted a whole load of pics of the poster he got last night - too many to link but you'll find them at the twitter feed

Tim Maguire said...

damn no 8am PST

ChrisL said...

Ellen, the folks in the queue were given bookmarks with numbers on which gave the clue to the buy time. See LOSTARGS home page. unfortunately it appears one or more is missing and so the clue is useless.

reAnimated said...

Wow dont think I caught this clue last night http://twitpic.com/tr06o

Guessing its Ajira 316?

Just Thinking said...

Has anyone noticed that it seems to be difficult to capture a likeness of "Kate". The Crash seemed off to me, also 16 and the Lyderson.

Ellen B said...

Thanks, ChrisL. Obviously I haven't had time to read everything on the LOSTARGS site!

Amy Lynn said...

JT, the more and more it comes up, the more I'm thinking perhaps Evangeline Lilly didn't want her likeness preserved on the posters as Kate.

londonlove427 said...

So I'm currently sitting in my french final, and checking up on this at the same time. I feel like a rebel. :)

Drama said...

yeah, just counting up the numbers. I have a theory as to when it's going to drop, I just don't know if I should share it! especially as I'm going to be out when it does, if my calculations are correct. And no, I can't get out of it.

feel_the_insanity said...

So what's up with that Locke T-shirt? Any news on if those will be available?

feel_the_insanity said...

@london...I should be studying for my Psych final. That's not happening! Haha.

last night they said they made 800 shirts and they were almost sold out. but that was said on the streaming feed so who knows if it's right.

Unknown said...

@ben- I also have a theory. I wonder if were thinking of the same thing. hmm...

Just Thinking said...

I meant the Season Three and so it Goes about Kate- not the Lyderson. I hadn't thought about that Amy Lynn- could she say that- don't paint me?

Also, on the MIB, what is the watercolor set reference? Can't place that.

Lisa-Maladylis said...

you know, when this is done, what do we do ??? we have been sitting at our PC's for months now, now what ? go have a real life ? I won't know what to do with myself till Feb 2 lol

Amy Lynn said...

Yes, she absolutely could say that.

ChrisL said...

Ellen, I know, it's been a little crazy on here. if you can find a minute or two to check out the main page though you'll be pleased you did, there are some amazing pics.

Nicole said...

Just Thinking: The first thing that came to mind is when Hurley was using a set like that to paint an igloo and an eskimo when he was at Santa Rosa.

reAnimated said...

Rev mentioned to me last night that he was able to get 3 before they sold out, so I assume they did. They printed 815 of them.

Tim Maguire said...

@ben @jesse t

are you thinking a Newton Raphson approach, or a higher/lower, warmer/colder sort of game

Lisa-Maladylis said...

oh yeah 815, not 800 hope they make more of them, I know we all want one or two

feel_the_insanity said...

I really can't stand this limited edition crap.

Also, good luck to everyone going for the poster. It's up on Ebeans, Dark UFO, OMG Posters, and here. So, pretty much the entire world knows about this one.

dylansdad said...

I'm thinking of saving myself the despair, frustration and grief and just giving up now. With the word spreading for hours and hours and hours, this will be the worst order yet.

Ellen B said...

ChrisL, oh, I've checked out the main page! It's fantastic! I just didn't (easily) find the scoop on the bookmark clues!

ChrisL said...

dylansdad, remember though that there has been no way for new registrations for a few weeks now. There'll only be the same number of people physically able to get in there and buy as there has been for the last couple.

Just Thinking said...

I wonder if the sand sliding out of MIB's hand could also mean his plan slipping away? Would explain his scowl.

And Smokey rearing up just behind? Hint, hint- or the artist has no more idea than we do for sure?

Tim Maguire said...

@Orchid had a good point on the thread before this one - do we need to take into consideration numbers on the posters that are bolded?

dylansdad said...

I wish Eko had his stick in the poster instead of that axe, I wish Shannon and Sayid weren't in there twice, and I wish that some combination of the freighter/Naomi/Lapidus/Miles/Charlotte/Keamy were in there somewhere. Ana-Lucia is less deserving than the freighter folk, and had less of an impact on the plot. I would also have liked to have seen Widmore, Eloise, Rousseau, Alex, Mikhail, Tom and Richard. (Or at least a more obvious Richard.)

But other than that--I love it!

Amy Lynn said...

LOL @ dylansdad. It seems like this poster is much more a hunt for clues thing than a work of art.

dylansdad said...

CHrisL--Thanks for the reminder--that does give me a little hope.

But those other 4,815,162,342 people probably don't realize they have no chance without an existing account and will storm the site anyway, causing the server to catch on fire, which is housed in the same building as all the poster tubes. The whole thing will go down in ankh-shaped flames.

Claire said...

First of all,

Thanks so so much to Rev and Lottery Ticket for going out of their way to do the live feed. All of us in Rev's chat on UStream really felt like we were there (minus the crowds, pushing people, free poster an ability to buy things! :( ). We really had a good time and we're glad you all did too. We loved the shout-outs and the WAAALLTs. You really went the extra mile for us, so thanks so much!

Onto my favorites,

I love the Dan Lydersen one so much because it just has so much in it. I just want to stare at it for hours.

But i also love the one of Darlton combing the smoke monsters hair lol.

Just Thinking said...

OK speaking of clues- do the 2 red dots on the cloud plane in 16 match an Ajira logo?

And also if anyone got an extra Locke t-shirt they are willing to part with, I will pay for it and shipping :D

All those site have known about the print releases for awhile, so I don't think we're going to get to many more people trying for them. I hope. Plus like ChrisL said you haven't been able to register for awhile. But I do get how you feel, it's going to be a 404 day.

I like that there's 2 Sayids in the print. :) Eko with the stick probably would have been better. I would mind Daniel in the print. I would like to see Frank since he was suppose to be the original pilot (and might be a candidate.
A better picture of Richard would be nice too. I thought it was Jack when he came out of the jungle onto the crash scene.

maybe if we add 548 from the numbers gathered from the posters? the dharma van, the love triangle, and ben linus. probably not, but maybe.

Tess315 said...

That should be wouldn't mind Daniel...

@DG that would put it in the PM

is that the order they were in?

and is it (-) or (+)

@ Ben

Are you referring to the prints? or to the art work that was exclusive to the show?

Drama said...

art work that was exclusive to the show. I started looking at the sites for some of the artists, dropped a few emails saying how much I liked the work, but was stuck in the UK so not able to get any. One has emailed back saying they will "most probably" be doing prints, and to check back in a couple of weeks.

Ben- prints of the paintings would be great- unless we have to get them the same way as the posters-f5, f5, f5 ....

I didn't think too much about the small series of square pictures last night (artist? watercolors?)- but looking now I see each one s a pivotal moment or the character facing it's "issue", and they're a bit funny too. Now I like them a lot.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the art show last night. That was one of the most amazing experiences ever.

the prints. paul s. said something like we had all the answers already. it's a shot in the dark, but let's get thinking so we don't miss this time. Losties unite... or something like that.

reAnimated said...

@Just Thinking, you can always just buy the print on ebay. Flippers already have signed prints up. :( tragic.

Just Thinking said...

No, I mean prints of the show artwork Ben was talking about. Hoping for a large run- not the hand pulled limited thing-so more of us can get them.

Drama said...

OK OK... it was Lauren Gregg's pictures. I LOVED the Charlie one, and the smoke monster, so will be getting myself some when they come on line!

Amy Lynn said...

If anyone's looking for the Swan, there's a not completely ridiculous priced one up on Ebay that's about to end:

Ben
Thanks for emailing the artist. Having a print of one of those painting would be sweet.

John-Paul said...

@Amy Lynn

I went to look at that swan poster and saw that it is my ROOMMATE selling it. I just gave him some shit. At least he's not charging as much as some people.

ChrisL said...

Talking of the Swan, Just picked mine up from the framers. It's STUNNING!

Tess315 said...

Sorry I don't know which one's were Lauren Gregg's.
Can you be more specific?

Amy Lynn said...

LOL @John-Paul.

reAnimated said...

@JonPaul, now thats funny :P

Drama said...

Lauren Gregg's are the cartoony Charlie playing guitar to a polar bear, and Ben with Smokey on a leash. I'll be ordering up both.

Tess315 said...

Oh ok. I like then too. Especially Ben with Smokey on a leash. Thanks.

ChrisL said...

The Charlie playing guitar with the Polar Bear is a beauty.

dylansdad said...

After looking at all that art, I think my favorite thing would be the big set of all the small watercolors.

Drama said...

others have said similar, or hinted at it. My feeling is that by early feb most prints (including the original 16) will be available in "open" runs (maybe signed, but not numbered).

John-Paul said...

Is everyone just seeing the art from the show by looking at people's pictures? or is there some site with all of the pieces displayed on it?

ChrisL said...

Ben, re original 16, "Once this limited edition print has sold out, they will never be printed again". I doubt we'll see them re-printed.

Amy Lynn said...

@ChrisL, we know for a fact that's not true. Several of the artists have extra prints.

Drama said...

LOL @Jean-Paul. Zort has been updating the main post - scroll down the main page!

dylansdad said...

If they wanted to please the greatest number of fans, they would have made them lithographs to begin with. Choosing to go with the hand printed method limited things from day one.

Unknown said...

for Christ sake amy, the artist have part of the 300 run. get your head around it.

PessimisticLines said...

@Amy - Extra prints does not = "reprint".

Amy Lynn said...

@Edward, um, yes, I realize that. No need to be rude.

Tess315 said...

ChrisL
You're right they won't be re-printed. But I think some of the artist who have extras plan on selling them when they are allowed to.
