LOST Auction - Day 2 38

Another day another auction.

Again this is a living post for all the action from the second day of the exhibit and auction, if you have anything to tell us or a photo to share let us know.

You can check out the winning bids for day 1 on the Live Auctioneers website

I hope you didn't go to bed thinking your absentee bid was still good !

This is a complete joke of a situation.

How am I going to buy the four toed foot now ?

Wooooooooooooooaaaaaahhhhh !

Yes that is 416.66 per can of beer.

$1900 for a small, scrappy piece of paper !

Closeup of the Haliwax jacket, taken by Bonnie (Maven)

It was $850 dollars for Sawyers boxer shorts.

Guess what they are running late !

This photo of Bonnie (Maven) in her group at the auction and all the ones below (unless stated) are by Bonnie J Green and were taken on Day 1 of the auction.

Big thanks to her and all our friends at the auction for sending the photos and all the updates.

@Dave_Rambo tweeted this photo of his swag from Day 1

The link to the winning bids doesn't work for me.

it's interesting but very sad too. you have to be rich to get anything. Oh well, I'm happy with my lost things and they were each under 10 bucks. It gives me the excuse to rewatch the whole show again to find them.

Fixed the link, it didn't like the extra / at the end.

Could be you need to be logged in then to see the final prices as all I can see are the same estimate prices as before.

Zort70 said...

Could be, I'm logged in at the moment and I can see a screenshot like the one on the main page.

Hey guys, I only comment about every 4 months now it seems, but yes! I believe you have to be logged in to see the winning bid amounts. I got a pop up or some such telling me to do so earlier.

I wish I could have gone at least to get the cool paddle and catalog. That would have been good enough for me.

maven said...

I believe the catalogs are still available online at Profiles. The cool paddles were only given to the first 100 preregistered bidders. The rest just got cards with numbers on them. Since I had 2 and my hubby left early I have my extra one to Dave who definitely deserved it! He just better now raise it for a bid since it's "registered" to my credit card! LOL

that's ok, I don't really need it. No insurance paying for brain surgery and radiation treatments will keep my pocket book busy for a while lol (and please don't anyone think I'm asking for a hand out because I'm not) Have funny Maven, I will enjoy the photos.

Here's my album on Facebook of the Lost Auction. Hope you guys can access it. (Zort, you may use any pics you want)

Would be nice to make a list of who on here got what. I got out bid on every item I bid on. I just sold my house, my car, my first born and my wife. So I just might get that Dharma van after all.

Just got a chance to look at the pictures from yesterday. I see the Grilled Cheese Truck that I seen on the Food Network program Unwrapped was there. That's so weird.

Ready to follow the blog and the tweets for another day of Lost auction.

James, knowing the prices that things have been going for that may not be enough.

Zort70 said...

The Bid Live link is up on the Live auctioneers website.

Doesn't do anything yet of course, but it is there.

I have been trying real hard not to be bitter towards those who can drop $11,000 on a dharma key etc.

I just think ABC should have sold Lotto Tickets and Raffle off everything with Jorge Garcia pullin the numbers.
That way EVERYONE has an Equal chance to get a piece from the show we all love.

Zort70 said...

James, I definitely think there should have been a mixture of ways of getting stuff, especially with lot slike the DHARMA food package where many people could have got something, no matter how small.

Anyway looks like they are going to start again now.

Thanks for sharing all the great Auction happenings.

Zort, I am willing to bet that who ever gets the Dharma Lots with multiple items will put some on ebay in a month.

So perhaps there is still hope if all else fails.

Zort70 said...

Prices seem to be on a par with yesterday, lots of people bidding again.

Zort70 said...

The auction house just said can the person that bid on the FDW contact them.

I hope someone knew what they were doing when they bought it !

Tess315 said...

That's sad since who ever won it only paid 800 for the crib.
How long until they actually get these items in hand?

Scoutpost is a top Tweet !

Should I put a post up for Day Three !!!!

I went to bed at 3:30am, got up at 7:30 and this is still going stronger than ever.

No more online bids after 12 hours of sale? :(

Not that I could afford anything anyway..

Zort70 said...

No more bids online and absentee bids made are no longer valid.

Profiles in History are now confirmed as a complete joke.

Swound! said...

It's a ridiculous rule! Oh well, they're gonna lose some money on these! haha

Zort70 said...

To try and get me over the annoyance I've just gone for a replica failsafe key from ebay.

Maybe I can convince my friends I bought the real one !

Zort70 said...

Lot 1163 didn't sell !

That is the only piece of the heart of the island set I've seen for sale.

Swound! said...

haha. I saw those failsafe keys! I want one too.

Also, there were a few watches that started at $1000 or so that didn't sell.

Zort70 said...

Last lot sold for 7,500

What a couple of days it has been.

Zort70 said...

I have made a NEW POST with the final item prices.
