I think I'm going with a 1970's purple suede tux that I got for a costume a few years ago.
Either that or something entirely made of burlap. Thematic, don't you know.
BTW,for some reason I'd never spotted it, but the LU 'intro' video's shots of a college campus are actually shots of USC. I've actually -DONE- study groups at the place where they have them sitting.
USC doubles for just about every campus in movies and TV. It always takes me out of a show or movie when they show USC's campus and try to claim it is somewhere else (like Berkley in The Graduate, I couldn't help but think about drunkenly swimming in the fountain that Hoffman sits at for a day).

Justin -- I was going to suggest entering the 2nd print in the Cafe Press contest, but then they'd probably have more issues with you selling it at all.

Frankly, I don't think any of us knows ANYTHING about the 'Commencement' except that it's about 75 mins. from now.
Honestly, I'd be surprised if it was anything other than a video.
As to whether we need to be logged into the website or the Blu-Ray, I'm -assuming- website. But that could be wrong, so will have both up.

Graduation Begins with a Bang!
Shortly after the premiere of LOST: The Final Season, the first candidates for graduation have the opportunity to participate in the first LOST University Commencement Ceremony on February 12, 2010, at Oceanic Arena. LOST University students have completed a rigorous course load touching on many subjects that pertain to the television series LOST. Graduates and their families will be addressed by University Presidents and Executive Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, and upon completion of the ceremony will be able to download their personalized diploma from their binder. While the first graduates have completed their classes, the LOST University experience will continue through its active forums and tutoring center, ongoing graduation ceremonies, and the ability to retake any class at any time. Congratulations, Class of 2010!!!
So there you are. I suspect that means it'll be a video and then a downloadable diploma for EVERYONE (yeah!!) with the first 108 of us getting a special version.

Let me be the 1st to say congratulations! Your quick reflexes and perfect timing serve you well and you're one of the lucky few who got through in time. Thanks for bearing with the constant F5's and waiting around all day for the release. I wish there was an easier, less painful way to get you (and all the ones who got left out) your prints. I admire and appreciate your efforts. Thank you so much for digging my poster! You should have it in hand within the next few weeks.

Did your graduation ceremony video include a mention of BEING one of the first 108 and getting a diploma signed by Lindelof and Cuse?
When I logged in, that was the video I got--it specifically mentioned being one of the first 108 and getting a diploma signed by them.
So I'm curious whether the 108 folks got a -different- video than those who were not.
Speaking of which, at least on my screen, I'm #4 (UnseenPresen), which tickled me a ton.

Well... the Lost University countdown clock was once again anticlimactic. Just a short message, then the clock reset itself to the season finale date of May 23rd. I'll upload the video in a little while. Right now, I'm waiting for the Lost University commencement video to finish loading on my PS3... so I can record it as well. I'll be back in a little bit with some YouTube links.
That was brilliant. Here's hoping their next show is a show about the two of them, they crack me up. Especially at the end when lindelof says, i'm not signing anything.
BTW, i'm siting in my LU Class of 2010 tee that Anne kindly got me and my graduation cap. Even threw it up in the air at the end of the ceremony.

Still wondering, however--has someone who did NOT get the email saying they were in the first 108 done graduation and seen the video? If so, did it include a section saying you WERE one of the 108 and that you were getting a signed diploma from them?
Just really curious as to whether everyone got the same video or whether there are two different versions. Because frankly, if I were NOT one of the 108 and the video said I was, I'd be a little annoyed.

@LT - I'm editing it right now... and yes, I'm one of the 108 as well. My screen name at LU is "dharmadude". I'll put up the LU countdown video, and the graduation ceremony video as quick as I can. It's HD so it just takes longer to re-encode after editing, especially with my aged computer.

Chrcowan -- I didn't get a refund or a confirmation either. My time was 09:23:08 and the only other time earlier than that posted here was 09:23:06.
I know late yesterday there were some people in the 09:23:30 range who didnt get refunds yet, but if it sold out in 5 seconds, i would have though they would have.
You guys might want to try EB, actually. Apparently Eric did an open CC on the e-mail, so all 28 recipients can see the e-mail addresses of everyone who got the print.

Ah i got my email too! My paypal emails get sent to my old email address, which then forwards the emails to my new email address. Since it was marked as spam, it didnt get forwarded over. Yeah!
