It seems a fitting tribute that this collection of images from drMikey is posted after the disappointment of the Emmys last night.

The waveforms may have been unofficial but the whole project gave us something to hang on to and participate in while the last official LOST events were happening.

The First Wave - Revealed 15

The first resonant Waveform has been shown.

It consists of a string of letters, with another random string of letters displayed below, the second string of letters occasionally shows up a white letter which indicates what the actual letter in the completed puzzle should be.

Waveforms Lovely Little Waveforms 37

No I haven't gone all Commander Data on you, this is the next step in the, what I am still assuming is unofficial, ARG that surfaced about a month ago.

Today we were sent an email, presumably for signing up after completing the memory game puzzle, this email gives details of what is going to happen next. Returning to the website www.TheIslandIsntDoneWithYouYet.com shows the same information on a scrolling screen.

Looks like there will be 15 puzzles starting tomorrow, whether this leads to anything or there are any prizes is unclear, but it might be a bit of fun.





The full text of the email is :-

Namaste!

Thank you for your interest in the DHARMA Initiaive Resonance Harmonics Project. As you know, we have been expecting a cascade event to occur on 8/15, only a day away! We can now confirm that the cascade event will indeed begin at 12:01 AM, EST on Sunday, 8/15. We have also established that the event will last for precisely 15 days, and on each day a new resonant waveform will be trackable.

This means that we will be able to generate predictive images of 15 future travellers to the island! Over the course of every day, resonant waveforms will become easier and easier to lock on to. Please do come back as often as you can over the next two weeks to help us in unlocking these waveforms!

We believe that waveforms will start in a totally undecipherable form, and will gradually gain clarity throughout the day, like so:

Well is this a real rabbit hole or a fake one ?

Looking distinctly ARGy I set about looking at this. The attached flash file takes the user to a small puzzle. The puzzle is a build the circuit type of thing where you put all the connectors in the right place.

When you do this you then have to enter the correct frequency, which is fine if you understand French numbers. Then finally you get directed to Click here to show the circuit puzzle solution and the location. theislandisntdonewithyouyet.com. When you get there there is a memory puzzle. You have to enter letter pairs and find the matching symbols.

Match all the symbols within the time and you then get to a video message.

The video message is a little odd, i.e. it does not look like an official DHARMA message, but it does ask you to enter a 2 digit code so you can enter your email address and get updates. The video mentions the 15th of August and a period of 2 weeks after that, which would take it up to the release date of the final season and complete collection DVD / Blu Ray disc sets.
