@RobPerrin - Thanks! I think it's going to be one of those "work-in-progress" things for me. I keep thinking of other things I want to add to make it cooler! :-) I think I'm going to print all of the Dharma hatch logos, and put them on the walls of the cube with my Season 5 Dharma edition BluRays. Then of course there's my idea for adding a video projector... LOL!

I got my Olly Moss "Mystery Tube" today! It's his "Last Crusade" print for me! I think it's going to have to go in my office... as after measuring for my custom frames for my LOST prints... I'm very low on wall space anywhere else.

Off to bed. Have a great weekend everyone!

Ray said...

@PatMC

Awesome! I don't get mine until tomorrow or tuesday. Hoping for a Last Crusade as well, but will be plenty happy with whichever I end up with.

Last day to vote for Hulu Best in Show
LOST must win!!

Just got my "Locke's Secret" and "Crash" back from the framers! They look great (although the frame blocks Olly's signature)

I'll post pictures once I hang them up!

Scored Dan McCarthy's "Winter Solstice"

Forgot to say that my Homeward Bound print arrived the other day. Everyones bleed seems to have come out different, mine looks like cirrus clouds so i think it looks rather impressive.

And my olly moss tubes are still to be dispatched, I presume because of the fact I live in the UK. ah well!

And patmc, that shrine looks mighty impresessive!

rtfarr1-So Lost against the Simpsons!

I read yesterday though that Ken for EW has a 25% vote of the total that is added in. So if the vote is close -he decides. Was trying to figure- what % of the 75% of total fan vote does Lost have to be to win even if he wants the Simpsons?

Ray said...

Sweet, just voted on Hulu. Lost has a good lead for now, too.

Patmc said...

I definitely did my part for LOST on the Hulu contest. I spent an hour late last night, voting for LOST. It was still 50% to 50% when I went to bed... but I'm hoping it was my extra votes that pushed it over the top. :-)

rtfarr1 said...

@JT:
That's too much math for me...
I just spend hours clicking and f5ing :)

Just Thinking said...

Well, reading that Hulu blog-I think that it is clear that the shows only advanced if Ken Tucker from EW wanted them to-looks like there might have been just one that made it in spite of his 25% vote to the other show.

So,he pretty much has arranged this final match up. If you want to win by enough to override his 25% of the total vote- I think Lost has to get 68% in the fan voting- to give it 51% overall.

Anything less than that though, and he decides. If it was 50/50 in fan voting-then a little more either way doesn't matter.

I don't know why they didn't just make it fan votes. They all were good shows I thought-not like they were in danger of having a clunker win.

rtfarr1 said...

That doesn't sound too fair...hopefully he likes LOST more than the Simpsons!

Yet another LOST Day T-shirt at TeeFury.com today! Be sure to act quickly: as always, TeeFury shirts are only available for 24 hours... then they're gone forever.

Not my favorite LOST shirt yet... but I still bought one. I'm still a sucker for anything LOST... :-)

Can anyone tell me, what time is Lost on tonight on the US east coast?

Last week I watched it live on an internet stream for the first time at 1am (England), but since then our clocks went forward.

So I want to check if the stream will be at Midnight.

Anyone?

Amy Lynn said...

ioioos, LOST airs at 9pm EST.

Anonymous said...

Hi Amy. Thanks! Just forgot the clock here went forward, not back so its 2am over here.

I think I'll wait till the morning!

Amy Lynn said...

The easiest way to remember how the time works in the US is "spring forward, fall back"

Ray said...

Anyone else get their Moss mystery prints yet? Mine is scheduled for tomorrow.

And happy lost day!

Patmc said...

@ioioos - Another good way to get the time for most big cities in the world, is to use Google. Just type in the word "time" (without quotes), then the name of the city. Yup... it's that simple. I love Google... :-)

For anyone who hasn't seen it already... I took some pictures of the new decorations for my desk at work. It feel much more like home now... :-)

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since I posted here (probably not after the end of the regular run of the dcaapb.com) but I have been following you all. You guys rock, keeping the site alive after the ARG has finished.

The thing is that due to some irregularities in my life status, I need some cash and I am planning on selling my fuc**** precios print collection. Not that I want to, but it's one of the faster ways to get something (though we all know that it has been devaluated a lot). It is a pain in the ass but I am not using the prints at all (they are still in their tubes, since there is no cash to frame them) and to have a few tubes getting dust, I prefer to recover my economy and let somebody enjoy them more than I am doing.

We all hate eBay scalpers and speculation, so I prefer asking you guys first in order to see if there is somebody out there interested on purchasing my items. My collection includes all the posters except "The Crash" and "Jacob's Cabin". So a total of 14 of them. I would like to sell them altogheter, but I understand that is going to be hard...

If you have something to say, please contact me at orugaxxx@gmail.com

Thanks and keep the site alive! :)

To everyone here and over at The Lost Community (I'll repost over there), thank you so much for the support you gave Scoutpost, Zort70 and I during the Jay & Jack 30-Hour Autism Speaks podcast. As most of you know, the Taweret gift to me in LA went up for auction on eBay in your honor. I have been the beneficiary of much help from "you all everybody" here and I thank you. The statute leaves my home today and is traveling across the country to it's new owner. The final bid was for $812 all of which will go to Autism Speaks. Please listen to Jay & Jack's Lost Podcast this week (two shows, Wed and Thursday www.jackandjack.com) for the results of the fund-raiser. I believe they are nearing $30,000!

A small gesture from Gallery 1988 LA, LOST Producers Lindelof and Cuse, Jay & Jack's Lost Podcast and the eBay winner will make a difference in the life of a child.

Happy Lost Day!

Tonight we are having a guest artist release at DamonCarltonAndMe.com and I will be posting a clue that you must solve to find his artwork. In addition, he is giving away 5 mini-statues of Tawaret that he sculpted (NOT the same as the ones given away at Gallery 1988) to the first 5 people that solve his puzzles and purchase his artwork. I will also be giving away a "Widmore Publishing" comic book backing board (from the official "DamonCarltonAndAPolarBear" project) to one random person that emails me the puzzle solution (no purchase necessary).

So if you like puzzles, Tawaret statues, free prizes, or artwork, come check it out!

@Lotto...

That's great news! Sorry I couldn't really be a part of it due to home issues and jet lag from Japan but it looks like it raised some serious cash for a very worthy cause.

Add that to the list of why LOST is much more than just a show!

rtfarr1 said...

@Justin
Another great puzzle and piece of artwork. Definitely worth the time!
Can you give me some time for my wallet to heal before the next one? :)

For those of you who haven't checked it out yet, get over to Justin's site for his Guest Reveal 4 puzzle - You won't regret it!

Olly's Master Race up at 2pm CST at link

ChrisL said...

Damn I want that print!

Martyn said...

@ChrisL...

I will be trying for the poster tonight for the sake of trying. I like the poster a lot. but if i get one and you don't, you can have mine. I think you'll appreciate it a lot more than I will. :)

ChrisL said...

Martyn. Fantastic. Thank you. Not even sure I'll be at my Mac at that time.

Patrick said...

Hey if anyone could be a poster buddy for me on the Moss I'd really appreciate it. I'm not going to be near a computer when it goes up. Email me yingko9 at gmail.

Thanks!
Pat

Sam G said...

Looking at the other posters that Olly Moss has going up at the same time and I like the Appleseed one too.

ChrisL said...

Sam G, agreed, it's lovely. Olly is a huge talent. I think I might officially be "a fan" :-) Space however dictates that Master Race is the one for me.

Martyn said...

If Martyn the fool hadn't been silly enough not to account for DST, he wouldn't of spent the last 20 minutes refreshing like crazy. Man I feel stupid.

Amy Lynn said...

@Martyn, 1:21pm, CST. You've got 39 minutes.

Martyn said...

Thank you Amy Lynn. I have one website saying it is 12:28, another saying 13:28 and one final one saying 14:28.

Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Amy Lynn said...

@Martyn, the easiest thing to do, if you're ever confused, is google "What time is it in (city name)?"

For EST, use New York
For CST, use Chicago
For MST, use Denver, CO
For PST, use Los Angeles

Martyn said...

Right, copied that all down in to my notes on my iPhone, so hopefully, i'll never have this sort of problem again.

Should of taken note the last time you told me tbh. Sorry!

ChrisL said...

I really thought I had another hour... was just about to start watching last nights ep!! Thank goodness for LT warning me...

ChrisL said...

Looking good...

MurghBatwar said...

Anyone get a Olly MasterRace and want to pass it on?

So gutted I missed it as been here for nearly 2 hours due to time mix up... :(

I dont mind paying extra or even finding something else i can give you for your troubles...

Martyn said...

Yeah, apologies to ChrisL and Murghbatwar for having such a crap ISP, Orange Broadband. Can't connect properly on my Mac just before it went on sale. I did have my gf as a back up but she couldn't checkout fast enough as it told her there was nothing in her basket by the time she hit the button.

Sorry guys!

Ray said...

@ChrisL

You luck out? I didn't try for it. Coincidentally, I got my Moss Mystery tube a few minutes ago - ended up with a Die Hard! Looks very cool.

Martyn said...

Is that OUR otherben that's modelling a teefury tee today? It's an awesome tee, already bought it but saw otherben and thought what???

Hulu Best in Show

Martyn said...

@andalone...

Oh. Ok, now I'm sad. I just convinced myself to get it too.

andalone said...

Don't feel bad Martyn. I was whipping out my credit card at 5 AM, in a mad rush to buy one before it sold out.....joke was on me. I just blinked dumbly when I got the April Fool's screen after clicking on BUY NOW.

Martyn said...

5am? Ok, I don't feel too bad then, lol. Could of been worse, could of been real AND sold out. I know which i'd be more gutted about.

andalone said...

Patmc said to fill out the "make this available" form and let them know that you want it to be a real product. They have done it with other items in past.

ChrisL said...

Jr and I were convinced by that clock. And very excited at the prospect of being woken up by an alarm in the morning for the first time ever!

On a different note... I have a large number of duplicates of the LOST Inkworks autographed trading cards and pieceworks cards (they have a piece of the clothing worn on the show included in the cards). I'm going to put them on ebay shortly but if anyone here is interested I'll pass them on at 70% the current ebay prices. email me chris dot leaning at gmail if you are interested.

@XXXhardcore he tweeted me and said he was busy moving and would do it on friday.. i have a feeling it was a very well thought out april fools joke

Martyn said...

New doctor who. Hmmm, just a bit surreal. On another note, I'm pretty much presuming thenext time we talk about those ilusive diplomas will be when someone actually receives them. I'd imagine they'll get done after the finale is filmed.

Amy Lynn said...

I could never get into Dr. Who... the production values look like they are from the 70s.

XXXHardcore said...

@Weeinbreezy

I was/am beginning to think that, too. Although I personally don't find it that particularly amusing, funny, or clever.

Ray said...

@Martyn

Agreed. I'll bet they just haven't had any time at all for the diplomas. But watch, they'll be in our mail boxes by Monday morning!

By the way, get your mystery tubes yet? Curious as to which ones you got.

Martyn said...

@Ray...

No, it still says order processing. I won't know what's in the tubes until they land with MurghBatwar anyway, seeing as I bought them for him.

@Amy Lynn...

Trust me, the production values are far superior to that of the original series. Some of the writing is fantastic too.

I think mine and I'm guessing many others' favourite episode was Blink, which doesn't have any cheesy effects or anything, just pure story. I recommend you just watch that one episode and then never watch anymore. It's barely got doctor who in it too, mainly that woman who was in an education or something. I think her name is Carey mulligan? Very good, worth giving a go.
