We mentioned the newly created We Love LOST blog a few days ago, however I think a second mention is required.

DamonCarltonandaPolarBear Confusion, Mayhem and Chaos- Just what we Love :-) 90

As happened last night DamonCarltonAndAPolarBear.com was used to promote a password for the Official LOST variety show at the UCB theatre in New York and Los Angeles.

The site changed several times with the password appearing and nothing else and then the posters and back again to just the password, and in the middle of that the Daniel Danger print went on sale again for a brief moment and we have reports of people managing to purchase a copy. The image below, sent in by Limbofunk and Patmc shows the Daniel Danger print as Coming Soon not with it's normal Sold Out banner.


Things have settled down now and we have the posters and the password and show information on the same site for the moment.

No word on when the next poster wil be available yet, but stay tuned it could be a long evening / night / morning.

Then we have this small update from Daniel Danger via his facebook page that Ray told us about, and it does hint that, as before, the artists may have a few extra copies for sale at a later date.

New Poster - Not Pennys Boat 183

A new poster has arrived on the damoncarltonandapolarbear.com web site.

It is entitled "Not Penny's Boat" and is by Little Friends Of Printmaking who have a website at - thelittlefriendsofprintmaking.com

The poster depicts the scene from season 6 in which Charlie and Desmond plunge into the sea and Sideways Desmond has a flash of the alternate Charlie.

Everything is for Sale 73

At around 20:30 BST, 12:30 PST the new DamonCarltonAndAPolarBear site started selling its wares, and now nearly 12 hours later, guess what, it is all still available for sale.

We have seen a smooth ordering process, which unfortunately has now been updated to stop multiple copies being purchased in one transaction, and some reports that their order status has now changed to shipped already.

As to when the remaining will be for sale in the Quarantined areas we have no information on when this might happen, but there are eight slots and eight days to the final episode so maybe that is not a coincidence.

Reading all the reports from LOST live last night it sounds amazing. Team jack was reporting back @nerderific on twitter)

The picture to the left is of some of the usual LOSTARGs and Lost Community regulars, with the head our old pal Paul Sheer in the background.

Happy LOST LIVE Day - A Second DCaaPB Image 128

It is LOST Live day and early this morning in the UK / yesterday evening in the US, the Damon Carlton and A Polar Bear site was updated with the second of the three images.


The image appears to be of Sawyer, reading a book of course, sitting in the remnants of an Oceanic 815 jet engine.

The Way Pendant

So we are still waiting for some updates, since the LOST Live event is only in a few days then the next couple of days could be quite busy.

Until then another update from one of our regular contributors Justin Sena through his website http://www.damoncarltonandme.com/.

As you can see below this is a pendant and it was created by the artist Thanh Ngu. It is available for sale at http://www.yougotsomearztonyou.com/ however Justin is running a competition to win one of the pendants plus a couple of small Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear goodies.

108 Objects from Flight 815

While we wait for some Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear updates, we were sent this T-Shirt design from the artist design community "Threadless".

"I'd originally set out to create a giant, chalkboard-size differential equation that 'explains' the ultimate mystery of the show, using symbols from the show - a polar bear (minus) fish biscuit (times the square root of ) the lighthouse, and on and on to a tongue-in-cheek payoff I hadn't yet determined - probably something about telling Locke what he can't do. As I drew more and more symbols, I realized the equation was unnecessary and I could make the items into a mosaic.


It was so easy because LOST is full of instantly recognizable symbols and physical, tangible things - a broken airplane, a set of knives, a wheelchair, a metal case, the Virgin Mary statues. It wasn't a stretch at all to come up with 108 references - especially because there are so many LOST fans in the Threadless community that helped by using the blog forum to send me suggestions for more symbols.


So the design is a tribute to the very visual nature of the show - stark black and white, physical conflict - (gun beats knife, smoke monster beats gun!) and the physical items that in many cases tie a character to his/her checkered past - Charlie's Drive Shaft ring, Kate's toy plane, Sawyer's letter (He's a complex guy, sweetheart)


I'm a huge fan of the show - in fact, I work in television, and a dream job would be to work on or write for a brilliant series like this. As I worked on the design, I went back to the very beginning and started watching the episodes straight through again. I'd forgotten how much I love the simplicity of the first few seasons - "Guys, where are we??" - but I also love the added layers of intrigue and mystery with each successive season, and of course I'm sad to see it end.


So I hope the shirt (and hoodie) can help soothe the sadness just a little bit and we can carry on in the midst of our impending LOSTless state. In the words of Hurley, "Let's look Death in the face and say, 'Whatever, man!'"

LOST University Post Graduate Course ? 210

Kevin has emailed in a picture of his Lost University Diploma that was personally signed by Damon and Carlton and a big congratulations to all that qualified for the special diploma.

However for once that isn't the main news.








There was a Post it note on the back and as you can see it mentions a date in August for a possible Masters Program.

I'm sure it's a complete coincidence but this also happens to be the date that the final season is scheduled to be released on Blu-Ray and DVD

The First of the Three 288

Overnight the first update to the new Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear website was made.


The image appears to be either Jack lying in the Bamboo from the pilot episode or possibly Jack running somewhere.

The information about the new image was Tweeted by @GoMerch and Scoutpost was the first to let us know in the comments.

Update - This is an attempt to enhance and resize the image and it does indeed look like Jack in the Bamboo.

Oddly enough he has an orchestra with him this time !
